Acorn is a leading provider of training, learning and development solutions with 1000 plus individuals receiving training from us each month.

We design, deliver and evaluate a comprehensive range of training and development solutions to service both employers’ and employees’ and their individual needs. We establish the most effective support required for all training services and ensure that our clients access the most professional standards of delivery, flexibility and customer service to enhance their competitive edge.  Courses are developed at different levels, tailored specifically to address the existing and on-going business / performance expectations of the company and include:

• induction programmes
• IT courses from Basic to Advance level
• bespoke programmes

Acorn will complete a total assessment of the workforce (temporary and permanent) and produce a detailed training plan and budget forecast for each client. Assistance to secure appropriate funding support forms a key part of our service. As an approved training partner, Acorn provides advice and support in relation to the availability of Government funding at regional, national and European levels, which in many cases means we can provide the staff development programmes at greatly-reduced cost or even fully-subsidised to the employer.

Our assessors, all with occupational backgrounds in the areas they provide training, deliver standard and customised courses for companies and their staff in management/team leading, administration,  manufacturing, business  improvement techniques, hospitality, contact centres, customer services, health and social care, financial services, retail, construction, motor vehicle, body repair , supporting teaching and learning in schools, and across the public sector.

Acorn also works extensively with schools to develop and support 14-19 Learning Pathways. We offer a wide range of learning programmes designed to meet the needs of both pupils and the schools which range for short sharp training sessions to more extensive 1 and 2 year learning pathways.
