Apprenticeship in Leadership & Management

The Apprenticeship in Leadership & Management is suitable for any individual who is in a senior management position within their current job role. You will need to demonstrate that you have a detailed understanding of procedures, strategic planning and tasks undertaken within your area of operations and will need to demonstrate that you are responsible for the development of operational plans and managing a team or a process at senior level to achieve objectives and develop performance.

The apprenticeship consists of qualifications that are included in the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW) and provides a flexible approach to learning through the selection of units and credits.

The qualifications within the apprenticeship include:

• Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management
• Level 5 Institute of Leadership and Management Diploma (ILM)
• Essential Skills (Wales)
  • Level 2 in Communication
  • Level 2 in Application of Number
  • Level 2 IT
