Encouraging Change
Overall Aim:
Change management is an essential management skill. Change needs to be managed in a planned, intelligent and sensitive way by managers so that they, their staff and their organisation can move their business forward with minimum fuss and resistance.
Contents:
By the end of the workshop participants will:
- Recognise that changing customer requirements require organisational changes
- Analyse the need and speed for change in their work environment
- Have explored and used team problem solving skills and techniques for facilitating and driving organisational change
- Understand the impact of change on people and organisations and have explored new thinking and communication tools to ease the impact of change
- Understand the five characteristics of resilience and develop strategies for personal development in these areas
- Recognise other critical skills involved in being a positive change agent
