This course is designed to provide the skills necessary to analyse data and enhance reports by utilising the information contained in an existing database.
Participants will learn the basic skills necessary to begin using Access. After completion of this course, the participant will understand how to create a database and its tables, view and edit data in tables and forms and perform queries to extract data.
Students will learn to develop an application and tie the objects together into a cohesive system. Participants will also learn to use advanced Form design and how to analyse data by creating complex queries. The course also looks at considerations of database administration and security.
Students will learn how to enhance their database designs by using the principles of normalization and table relationships. Students also learn how to query multiple tables for data that is used in customized forms and reports.
